Loving Kindness Meditation for the Holiday Season

The Christmas season drives me crazy! Color me "minimalist" and scometimes a Scrooge when it comes to the Holidays. However, reduced to it's very essence, Christmas is simply the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to loved ones, friends and others, symbolized by the exchange of gifts, and experiencing the simple satisfaction that it brings.

The loving kindness meditation helps to develop appreciation and compassion for yourself and others. Just follow the guide in a quiet and comfortable place for 15 minutes as best you can, without trying to "get anywhere" or acheive any special state.
